To say the least, this past weekend was a giant success!
I am so proud of our section, university, community, and alumni for working together to host such a wonderful conference. To hear things like “best region conference”, “beautiful campus”, “wonderfully planned”, and “tons of fun” makes me so proud of our community! I’m glad we were able to share our beautiful campus with the rest of Region H. It seems we were able to show them the best of our community. Despite some weather delays, the show still went on! We were able to get business done with all our meetings, learn new thing to help advance our education and careers, learn about Houghton history, and even explore the wonderful outdoors.
So thank you to all those who helped with the conference. Especially the planning committee! I’m sure you had little sleep last week and weekend, but it definitely paid off! And thank you to all the rest of Region H for making the trek to this Arctic Tundra. We are looking forward to seeing you all again at Notre Dame next Spring!
Great post about a great conference!
